HISG- KARATE BELT TEST 2025-26

We Karate do Senshuken Academy glad to share this report on the Karate Belt Test event, which exclusively organized for this academic year 2025-26 interested MAG Karate Activity students of our HINDUSTAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL – GUINDY, Chennai. Belt Test conducted in the HISK-MTHHALL, on Thursday, 26th March 2026.Total 47students participated from 1st Grade to 8th grade.

The main objective of this belt test is to evaluate student’s technical knowledge and ability in fundamental areas: Fitness, Kihon(basics),Kata(forms), and Kumite(sparring). Each belt level introduces increasingly complex techniques and concepts, ensuring students have a solid foundation. Tests provide students with objective evidence of their progress, helping them understand what they have mastered and which areas require more practice and fosters a “never give up” attitude. In KATA (Lesson Skill) performance, students demonstrated their mastery through precise movements, posture, balance, and focus. With this most of the students even achieved Double Promotions.

The special highlight of the day was the address by the Principal, who congratulated all participants for their dedication and performance. The Principal emphasized the importance of discipline, consistency, and a positive attitude in both sports and academics. Following the address, the Principal honoured the students with a group Photo session with their karate belt and certificate.

Special Thanks to our HIS Schools Executive Director Lieutenant General Bobby Mathews, PVSM, AVSM & Bar, VSM is an Indian Army officer (RTD) for his valuable Prescence and wishes to all the participants.

The event concluded with a sense of pride and accomplishment with a group Photo session, as a remark of student’s celebration. It was truly a day of motivation and inspiration for all the young karate enthusiasts of our HISG MAG Karate Activity Students. The belt test not only recognized talent but also reinforced the school’s vision of nurturing holistic development fostering strength of body, mind, and character.

Special thanks to the HIS management for giving us the opportunity to continue our service and to conduct Belt Test. Many Thanks to HISG Admin, HISG PD, HISG MAG Activity Coordinator, HISG MAG activity Assistant Teachers and HISG Accountant for their support throughout year and for this Belt Test Event. Today’s Belt Test was a grand success, setting a remarkable benchmark for future Karate sporting events at Hindustan International School, Guindy.
